PURPOSE:To prevent the residual second resin material from mixing with the first resin material in the sandwich mold process, etc. by a method wherein a runner is branched through a valve member and one part of the runner is connected with the cavity while the other part is connected with a resin reservoir. CONSTITUTION:In a mold to be used for the sandwich mold process wherein an external surface skin layer is provided at the first shot and the core layer is at the second shot, first of all, the first resin material is injected, the second resin material in the previous process left in the runner parts 4, 5 is poured into the resin reservoirs 8, 9, the valve members 11, 13 are opened by the elevated resin pressure, the pure first resin material is injected into the cavities 6, 7 to provide the skin layer and continuously the second resin material is supplied to the cavities 6, 7 to form the core layer. The product obtained is free from residual resin in the previous process and resin mixing patterns are nice. |
