PURPOSE:To enable a small-type sealed lead storage battery to be smaller and has a button-like shape by installing pellet-like positive and negative plates composed of a coarsely porous body in a positive and a negative case made of a conductive material respectively, placing the plates facing each other with a separator interposed and joining the cases together with an insulator layer interposed. CONSTITUTION:After each pellet-like plate is placed on a lead or lead alloy frame, this is formed in dilute sulfuric acid to make a positive and a negative plate 2 and 5. Then, these plates 2 and 5 are installed in a positive and a negative case 1 and 4 respectively. Next, the cases 1 and 4 are placed facing each other with a separator 7 interposed. After that, the cases 1 and 4 are joined together through an insulator layer 8 either physically or by the combination of physical force and an adhesive, thereby assembling a small-type sealed lead storage battery. |
