New polycondensates consisting of units bearing diacid, dinitrile or diamide functions, and their uses, in particular in cosmetics

Cosmetic composition containing, as a main or secondary ingredient, a polycondensate of the following general formula (I), consisting of different units (Ia) and (Ib): <IMAGE> in which: t is 0 or 1; when t = 1, R1 and/or R'1 represent a linear or branched alkylene radical having from 1 to 38 carbon atoms, optionally interrupted by a -CONH- or -CO- function; an alkenylene or alkynylene radical having from 2 to 18 carbon atoms; a cycloalkylene radical having from 5 to 6 carbon atoms; an arylene or biarylene radical optionally substituted with an alkyl or alkoxy radical; or a divalent radical of formula: <IMAGE> in which: n is between 0 and 20 and R' represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical; and R2 and/or R'2 represent -CN, -CONH2, -COOR3 or -COCH3; R3 representing a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched alkyl radical having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl radical. Use in compositions for the skin, nails or hair.
