摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the acceleration performance by comparing the gear ratio with the increasing amount of supercharge pressure within predetermined time to decide the accelerating condition and performing the overboost control upon decision of acceleration. CONSTITUTION:Upon reaching of the supercharge pressure in the downstream of compressor 13 for turbo-charger under engine operation, an actuator 29 will function to open an exhaust bypass valve 23 thus to maintain the supercharge pressure at the target level. Here, a control unit 45 will detect the gear ratio on the basis of the output from rotation detecting means 49 and a car speed detecting means (not shown) while detect the supercharge pressure increase DELTAP within predetermined time on the basis of the output signal from supercharge pressure detecting means 51. Then the supercharge pressure DELTAPK for deciding the acceleration to be set on the basis of the gear ratio is compared with DELTAP, and if DELTAP>=DELTAPK which means the accelerating condition, a solenoid valve 47 will function to delay the opening timing of by-pass valve 23 thus to perform the overboost control.</p>
