In a bundle harness for long-material transport units of overhead conveyor systems in underground operation, which has a bundle chain, which winds with a chain path around the transport unit between the fixed chain end link and a chain guide, as well as a cross piece in which the chain guide is formed, through which the bundle chain passes when tightening its free end for tying the bundle and in which it is locked for maintaining the tying tension, at least one slinging point being provided on the cross piece for hanging the bundle on an underframe of rail trolleys of the overhead conveyor system, provision is made according to the invention for the cross piece and the chain guide to be split transversely and for the cross-piece parts, connected to a transverse joint, to form one gripper leg each, which each has a half of a chain clamp serving to block the chain path and is preloaded in the closing direction of the chain clamp and is also provided on its free end with a slinging point for the harness chain pair.
