PURPOSE:To reduce processing in an external controlling means by making the external controlling means output the first and second command signals from a signal output port to supply them to an internal controlling means, and making the internal controlling means identify supplied the first and second command signals to supply only the first command signal to a video disk player. CONSTITUTION:The first and second command signals sent out from a host computer 2 are written once in a command buffer 11. These are read out successively by a command switching circuit 12, and when the result of discrimination is the first command signal, the first command signal is supplied to the video disk player 1, and when it is the second command signal, the second command signal is supplied to a controlling circuit 4. The controlling circuit 4 receives the second command signal supplied from the command switching circuit 12, an internal program from a buffer memory 7 and the first status signal from the video disk player 1 and interprets and processes them. |
