PANCREATIC ISLET CELL USED FOR INSPECTING DIABETES AND INSPECTION METHOD USING SAID CELLS

PURPOSE:To make possible the easy and quick inspection of the diabetes by fixing the isolated pancreatic islet cells as monolayered cells. CONSTITUTION:The isolated pancreatic islet cells are fixed as the monolayered cells, by which the pancreatic islet cells for detecting the antibody of pancreatic islet cell membrane in serum is formed. The pancreatic islet cells for detecting the antibody of pancreatic islet membrane are brought into reaction, on cover glass 1, with the serum treated with an acetone extructed liver powder, or the IgG fraction thereof. Said cells are then brought into reaction with the antibody of human IgG serum labeled by fluoresce in isothiocyanate, and thereafter the coloration thereof is observed with a fluorescence microscope. The inspection of the diabetes is thus made possible.
