A pot bearing for structures has a bearing pot which is filled with a deformable pressure pad (4) and which is divided into a ring (3) and a base (2). The ring sits in an annular groove in the base of the bearing pot and is fastened there in such a manner that a supporting element engages in the annular groove, which element is configured as a web which is connected to the inner side of the ring (3) and which essentially fills the annular groove. Such a connection between the ring and the base of a bearing pot can be produced without thermal effect and is capable of transferring horizontal forces. <IMAGE>
