PURPOSE:To use a microcomputer without any interface at the side of a device such as a television receiver and to control automatically the desired device by generating a remote control signal by means of the microcomputer and by transmitting the signal. CONSTITUTION:An audio device 1a, a video tape recorder 1b and a television receiver 1c have devices to be controlled of infrared ray remote controllers simular to the conventional one. A terminal part 4 of an adapter 3 for an infrared ray remote control commander is inserted into a ROM cartridge insersion part 2b of a personal computer 2, and controlling by using a keyboard 2a of the personal computer 2. After a schedule is written in a RAM3c through a central processing device 3a of the adapter 3, the terminal part 4 is taken out from the personal computer 2. The adapter 3 recognizes that it becomes an event time in terms of central processing device 3a with the aid of a time signal from a clock circuit 3d, the contents of the even are read out from the RAM3c, and a corresponding data code is supplied to a light-emitting diode 3e through an infrared ray encoder 3f, and the television receiver, etc., are controlled. |
