PURPOSE:To prevent the inutile use of material by separately preparing a cylinder part and a collar part which constitute a cylinder sleeve and joining the both parts through friction-welding, thus permitting the use of the materials suitable for the cylinder part and the collar part and reducing the cutting portion. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 4 is constituted of a cylinder body 41 and a cylinder sleeve 42. Said cylinder sleeve 42 is constituted of the cylinder part 44 in which a piston 6 moves in slidable ways and a collar part 45 fixed onto one edge of the cylinder part 44. The cylinder part 44 and the collar part 45 are separately worked from different material and integrally joined in metallurgical form through friction-welding the cylinder part 4 onto the edge surface of the collar part 45. |
