发明名称 BINARY-CODING INFORMATION COMPRESSING AND ENCODING SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To avoid the waste of an encoding time, and to execute efficiently the encoding by sending out immediately a white compressed code without executing an access to a picture information memory, in case when picture information of a prescribed number of lines is all white. CONSTITUTION:Binary-coding information D of one line portion extracted from an original picture is written successively by one dot each to a picture information memory 1 by synchronizing with a clock pulse phi. A dot counter 2 counts the pulse phi, and generates a line end signal, when the count number coincides with the number of dots of one line portion. A flip-flop 3 is set by the clock pulse phi if black picture information is inputted even one dot, and a detecting signal B of the black picture informaion is outputted from an output terminal. When the line end signal LE is generated, an encoding circuit 4 gives a read-out clock RCK to the picture information memory 1, and sends out a compressed code of white picture information without reading out the contents of the picture information memory, in case when the detecting signal B is not outputted. However, in case when the detecting signal B is outputted, the contents of the picture information memory 1 are read out successively, and a compressed code is formed and outputted.
