PURPOSE:To realize the machining uniformly and with a high accuracy even in case of a simple program by executing the machining by controlling the intensity of a laser beam so as to be proportional to a machining feed speed. CONSTITUTION:At first, machining is started at a low machining feed speed corresponding to a speed alpha and also in a state that a laser beam is made to pass through transmission holes 3a, 3a on a periphery A of a chopper plate 3. Thereafter, a machining feed speed increases and it is calculated by an arithmetic unit, and its value is brought to a comparing circuit. The comparing circuit discriminates a fact that the working feed speed has exceeded a set value, sends a signal to a driving circuit of a motor, moves the chopper plate 3, and executes a control so that the laser beam passes through transmission holes 3b, 3b on a periphery B of the chopper plate. As for the laser beam which passes through the chopper plate and is irradiated onto a body to be machined, its intensity is increased. |
