<p>In a drive assembly comprising engine and transmission a pawl is provided, which by moving the shift lever into the idling position passes in front of a stop on the clutch release lever. As a result, the clutch remains constantly released whilst the shift lever is in the idling position, thereby preventing any annoying transmission noise. As a result of the engagement of a gear, the pawl releases the clutch release lever again and permits engagement of the clutch in the usual manner.</p> |
