A process for the environmentally friendly land fill disposal of coal power station residues by mixing dry residues with residues of a desulphurisation plant comprises bringing the mixture, mixed to give a slightly moist product by addition of at least 3% by weight of calcium hydroxide, to the land fill site and compressing it there.
