A radial-piston pump has a plurality of cylinder-piston units (2) in a stellate arrangement with respect to one another whose pistons (3) can be driven by an eccentric (5) of an eccentric shaft (6). The cylinder-piston units (2) deliver a pressure medium from a container (15) via individual outlet valves (7), which are assigned to each cylinder-piston unit, into a plurality of separate circuits to different loads (23A, 23B, 23C). The cylinder-piston units (2) can be switched off individually or in groups as a result of the pistons (3) being able to be pressed against the eccentric (5) only by a certain control pressure rather than by mechanical pressing means. The inlet valves (8) of the cylinder-piston units (2) are spring-loaded and can be moved into an open position only by a control pressure generated by a control pump (10). As a result, intake and thus delivery by the individual cylinder-piston units (2) are only possible if a switching valve (21) disposed between the control pump (10) and the inlet chamber of the corresponding inlet valve (8) permits a control stream to flow through. If the switching valve (21) shuts off the through- flow of the control stream, the inlet valve (8) cannot open, and the piston (3), owing to a reduced pressure being generated, lifts off from the eccentric (5).
