Apparatus for inserting transport tie elements into precast concrete parts

In an apparatus for inserting rod-like transport tie elements, the holder takes the form of a hemispherical recessed element which consists of two halves which can be pivoted relative to one another. The two halves abut one another at a parting plane which extends through the longitudinal axis of the transport tie element. The two halves can be folded about a pivot axis which extends in the parting plane and are connected to a travelling actuating drive. The two halves of the recessed element have depressions which, when the halves are placed together, complement one another to form the negative mould for the enclosed end of the transport tie element.
