A foodstuff vending machine is provided with a magazine for a plurality of cooled or uncooled metered foodstuffs, a heating-up device, a discharging station, a transport device operating between the magazine and the heating-up device and a selection station. In order to be able to move to the position of the selected foodstuffs as quickly as possible, but on the other hand to be able to replace the foodstuffs simply and as quickly as possible, the magazine is designed as a carousel 30 with a plurality of planes arranged one above the other for reception of bowls of foodstuff. <IMAGE>
