PURPOSE:To prevent interference patterns at the time of image formation and mottles at the time of reversal development at the same time and to obtain an image high in density and resolution and quality, and sharp in halftone by rendering the Ge distribution in the first layer and the distribution of the conductivity dominating substance in the first and second layers nonuniform in the prescribed direction and causing a light receiving layer to have at least one pair of nonparallel interfaces in a minute part. CONSTITUTION:Light receiving many laminated layers are formed on a substrate having minute roughness along rough inclined face, and the interfaces 603, 604 are not parallel to each other. Accordingly, light capable of causing interference incident on a minute part (l) causes interference at the minute part (l) to form a minute fringe pattern. Since the interface 703 between the first layer 701 and the second layer 702 is not parallel to the free surface of the layer 702, and the reflected light R1 of an incident light I0 and its emitted light R3 are different from each other in the advancing direction, an extent of interference is decreased in the case of both faces 703, 704 being parallel, thus reducing the difference between the light and dark degrees of interference fringe pattern to a negligible amt. |
