<p>The present invention relates to a system for constructing wing mirrors for vehicles. The object of the invention is to provide a system using the greatest possible proportion, in value, of common parts for wing mirrors differing either in their external shape, or in their method of adjustment. The parts which are common to all the wing mirrors comprise a base 2 for fixing to the bodywork 1, a support 6 for the housing 11 and means 4, 5 constituting a swivel articulation.
