PURPOSE:To recover efficiently the energy conserved by a blast furnace waste gas by connecting in series two units of a centrifugal type dust remover lined with firebricks at the outlet of the blast furnace and supplying to a gas turbine the waste gas thus dust-removed. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas discharged from a outlet 6 of a blast furnace 4 is fed to the first centrifugal type dust remover 10 lined with firebricks and the contained matter spouting in a boiling-out condition from the blast furnace 4 is separated. Next it is fed to the same type 2nd centrifugal separator 11 and the fine dust is further removed. The dust-removed waste gas maintaining a high temperature is fed to a gas turbine 9 for an adiabatic expansion. Further the minute fine dust is removed through an electrical dust collector 8. It is then led to a boiler, etc. and used for combustion. |
