<p>The cycle gas is heated and fed to the reactor-purifier from which, after cooling is passed to final reactor; both reactors are cylindrical, vertical and with a single catalyst bed, the temp. being controlled by 3 by-passes. The output from final reactor is cooled before mixing with new synthesis gas, water being removed in condenser. - Liq. ammonia is obtd. in high pressure separator and subjected to de-compression in valve from which if passed to expansion vapouriser. The gaseous phases are re-cycled to compressors.</p> |
