PURPOSE:To enhance the heat radiation of a brake device, by providing such an arrangement that each of a plurality of heat radiating fins formed on both side surfaces of a brake drum has a shape different from that of the adjacent one. CONSTITUTION:Heat radiating fins 21, 22 are arranged on both side surfaces 2A, 2B of a brake drum 2 at predetermined intervals, extending radially and vertically. Further, their shapes have different heights and widths from each others. With this arrangement turbrent flow and diffusion of cooling air may be actively made to promote the heat exchange between the heat radiating fins and cooling air. Accordingly the heat radiating effect of the fins may be enhanced to lower the temperature of the brake surface. |
