A plastics extruder produces two super-imposed sheets which are immediately subjected to a shaping phase. Both sheets then pass through a welding phase and a cooling stage to the end reel for the finished pipe. The welding stage subjects the sheets to longitudinal welding, which converts then to a tubular body with a circulation chamber and one or two lateral chambers for loss of contents.
