The reciprocating fluid actuator has a piston with an automatic end stop which does not interfere with the actuator function. The actuator has a chamber within the piston containing a two valves (disc or ball valves), connected to a sensor rod which detects the end of the actuator cylinder. - The valves are connected together by a spring which biasses them against through flow orifices in the piston.
