A monitoring device in an integrated drive amplifier intended to be driven by digital signals includes fault detection circuits (17, 18, 19, 20) giving a fault signal for such as excess temperature; overcurrent; and interruption or short-circuiting in the load circuit. The input of the drive amplifier is connected to the output of a D-type flip-flop (13) having a data input (D) and a control input (C) intended for connection to a digital control system. Between the data input and a potential corresponding to a logical "zero" there is connected a circuit (22, 23) adapted for connecting the data input to said potential during the interval between the operation signals when a fault signal is present, the resulting current sink (23) sinking current from the control system output terminal (I/O), thereby signalling the existance of a fault condition to the control system. <IMAGE> |
