<p>PURPOSE:To easily confirm the state of image formation, by discharging a series of image recording sheets onto a discharge tray in such a manner that the first and the following sheets are made opposite to each other as to the obverse and reverse positions. CONSTITUTION:When the second sheet in a series of image recording sheets is detected by a sheet detection signal circuit 21 and a signal of the detection is applied to the clock terminals of flip-flops 22, 23, an output ''1'' from the Q terminal of the flip-flop 22 is transferred to the Q terminal of the flip-flop 23 because the output has been applied to the D terminal of the flip-flop 23. As a result, an output from the Q terminal of the flip-flop 23 is changed from ''0'' to ''1'' so that a sheet front/back changeover circuit 25 is put in operation. The first and the following sheets are thus made opposite to each other in the obverse and reverse positions when the series of image recording sheets are discharged and stacked on an identical discharge tray 4.</p> |
