The heater uses an electric light bulb powered from the battery of the vehicle to maintain the temperature of the fuel at approximately +40 degrees Centigrade, preventing its freezing in the fuel filter. The heater is attached to the fuel filter housing by a band which is clamped by a screw (1) around the fuel filter housing. - The supply to the lamp bulb is by flying leads which are connected by 'crocodile clips' to the terminals of the battery or to suitable points at the vehicle dashboard. An indicator lamp may be included to warn the operator that the heater is operating.(0/1)
