The title compounds I (R1=R2=R3=phenyl, O-toryl, P-toryl, Pchlorophenyl, P-nethoxyphenyl), which are used as stimulators for sulfates, antioxidants and insecticides, were prepared. Thus, 1,3- diphenylthiourea was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran followed by the addition of KO2, which was then stirred at 20≦̸C for 8 hrs. to give 85% 1, 2, 3-triphenylguanidine.
