<p>An imidazole deriv. of formula (I) and its pharmaceutically-acceptable addition salts are made by (a) reaction of the cpd. of formula (II) with bromine in carba tetrachloride; (b) reduction of the ester of formula (III) with sodium in methanol; (c) reaction of the intermediate prods. from (a) and (b) in presence of sodium hydride, in hexamethyl phosphoro-triamide as solvent; and (d) reacting the prod. with imidazole in N,N-dimethyl formamide as solvent.</p> |
