<p>The invention is concerned with a detector for detecting the flow of a current in conductors, to be precise by a toroidal-core transformer which detects the flowing of a current in a conductor and operates a signal generator if a preset threshold value for the current is exceeded. For this purpose, a first circuit, which has a rectifier which may be in connection with a voltage amplifier, a capacitor and a second circuit are provided between the transformer and the signal generator in such a way that a signal on the secondary side of the transformer effects a discharge of the capacitor via the first circuit upon reaching a suitable voltage value at the ends of the capacitor, which voltage value corresponds to the current value for which a detection is desired, the capacitor suddenly discharging via the second circuit to the signal generator.</p> |
