PURPOSE:To achieve earlier recovery if a failure takes place, by deciding the memory in a channel device if there is good data regardless of erasing. CONSTITUTION:First, the content of a check area CHA in the memory is read out and it is compared with the data DTR for memory check. When the bits in the check area CHA coincides with the inspection data DTR through the comparison, it is understood that the memory is checked after the application of power supply. Since the data in a data storage area CTD are often not to be erased, the processing is made without clearing operation. Thereafter, when an RAM damp operation is made, the information at the production of failure and the details of process can immediately be known. |
