Articles (1) are painted using a dipping method and powdered paint. The articles are first surface treated, cleaned and preheated. They are then dipped into powdered paint flowing through a tank and are heated again and then cooled. The paint tank (12) is taper-shaped with the smaller diameter at its lower end. The tank is filled with powdered paints (9) having various particle-size distributions.
