摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the yield of friction annular plates for brake discs, by forming a friction plate with a plurality of arcuate plates which are applied on the lateral surface of a body, and as well by arranging the joint sections of the arcuate plates on projecting pieces. CONSTITUTION:An annular friction plate 16 for a brake disc 9 is formed of three arcuate plates 18 which are applied on the lateral surface of the outer peripheral section of a brake disc body 13 along the circumferential direction of the body, and the joint sections 19 of each adjacent plates 18 are inclined with respect to the diametrical direction. Further, the joint sections 19 of each adjacent arcuate plates 18 are formed such that they are substantially parallel with the projecting direction of projecting pieces 15. The joint sections 19 are positioned on the projecting pieces 15. With this arrangement the arcuate plates may be extracted out, being made approach together so that the number of condemned sections are reduced, thereby the yield of the friction plates may be enhanced.
