摘要 PURPOSE:To improve a rate of fuel consumption, durability, transmission efficiency of power and driving performance of an engine, by measuring its intake pipe pressure and obtaining output torque of the engine from this measured value so as to control speed change ratio on the basis of this output torque. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 43 is connected to an intake pipe 17 of an engine E so as to obtain engine output torque Te from a pressure value in the intake pipe 17, and output shaft torque To, being calculated from said output torque Te, control distance alpha of an accelerator pedal 20, speed Ne of the engine E and a speed Nds of a rotary shaft 29 in a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or the like, controls speed change ratio of the CVT. In this way, a rate of fuel consumption, durability, transmission efficiency of power and driving performance of the engine can be substantially improved by enabling the speed change ratio to be controlled both along an ideal control line of the engine and in good efficiency.
