The window, particularly for a swelling house, comprises two parallel transparent panes with a space between them. This space is filled with a liquid which ansorbs heat from solar radiation passing through the window and gives this up via heat exchanger, e.g. a radiator in the interior and connected to the space, e.g. in a closed circuit. Alternatively, heat-conducting e.g. copper or aluminium members transmit the heat from this space to the interior, possibly via an air duct passing through these members at a point outside the window frame. The liquid is preferably glycerin. One pane (the outer pane) may consist of acrylic resin or may be glass with acrylic inner coating.
|
