PURPOSE:To coat a piping, etc. with corrosion resistant material, causing its corrosion resistant effect even at high temperature and its operational property to be excellent by a method in which after the primer-layer containing partial hydrolyzate of zinc powder and alkyl silicate has been formed on the outer surface of a metallic piping, etc., a corrosion resistant tape is laminated on said primer layer. CONSTITUTION:First, after the outer surface of a metallic piping such as an oil pipe, i.e. a structure 1 has been preferably surface treated by sand blast, etc., said surface is coated with the primer liquid containing partial hydrolyzate (hydrolyzate in following) of zinc powder and alkyl silicate, and is dried. Thus, the primer layer 2 is formed. Next, on said primer layer 2, a corrosion resisting tape or sheet 3 obtained by providing an adhesive layer 4 on a supporting body 5 is wound around the piping 1, e.g. like spiral, half lapping the sheet on said piping 1. By such method, adhering and laminating process are achieved. Further, said primer liquid is nomally obtained, mixing zinc powder into the alcohol solution of said hydrolyzate. |
