PURPOSE:To simplity an automatic measuring instrument by supporting a micrometer pivotally on the 2nd moving body horizontally movably supported on the lower surface of the 1st moving body which is vertically movable and holding movable spindle and frame. CONSTITUTION:When a winding part of a can 10 to be measured which is fixed on a board 30 is to be pressed against the spindle of the linear type electronic micrometer 20 and an anvil 22 of the frame 26, the 1st moving body 71 is engaged with a supporter 31 planted on the board 30 by an air cylinder 74 and a spring 75 so as to be vertically moved. The 2nd moving body 81 is engaged with the lower surface of a supporting body 76 of the moving body 71 by an air cylinder 84 and a spring 85 so as to be horizontally moved. In addition, a meter 20 and an air cylinder 24 for driving a spindle 23 are fitted to a supporting plate 94 pivoted to a supporting frame 93 of the moving body 81 and a spring 95 is connected between the moving body 81 and the plate 94 to keep the meter 20 horizontally and respective cylinders 74, 84, 24 are controlled by a control part (not shown in the figure). |
