PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal head having lesser interference with heating resistors and small heat storing effects by arranging the heating center position of the heating resistors in a zig-zagged form toward the main scanning direction of thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head is made up so that the heating center position of heating resistors 11 is arranged staggeringly along the arranging direction of the resistors 11 and also arranged in a zigzagged form toward the main scanning direction of thermal head. Heat storing effects responsible for deteriorating the resolution can thus be lessened and also thermal interference can be lessened for the thermal head. |
