PURPOSE:To edit a relation conception graphic between events by an interactive operation, by making various relations existing in an event and between events correspond to a node and a link, respectively, and converting them to a graphic by a network format. CONSTITUTION:When a relation shown as an adjoint matrix is inputted to a relation inferring device 1, a reachable matrix is led out by using a transition property of the relation. An information generating device 2 inputs a relation data derived by the relation inferring device 1, uses the reachable matrix, divides an event into levels, determines a horizontal position of a corresponding node, and generates information required for a network construction. Subsequently, a node position of the event in the same level is determined in order of its registration, and determines whether a link exists between the nodes or not. An information arranging device 3 inputs a generated node position, changes its position so as to be easily visible to some extent, and displays the relation between the events on a display device 4 by the node and the link.
