PURPOSE:To recognize the importance and kinds of information even if the operator is absent by adding specific mark designated by a sender side in response to the importance and kinds of a recording content onto the surface of a recording paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:In adding, e.g., a yellow mark on the recording paper sheet, a yellow selection contact 15c is closed ahead the transmission and a mark selection signal generating section 16 generates a command signal. The said signal is processed by a protocol signal generating section 17 and modulated (18). On the other hand, a picture data read by a reading section 11 is matched with the timing with the protocol signal, subject to communication control 19 and connected (20) to the line and transmitted to a line 7. While a signal reveived from the line 7 at the reception section is subject to level adjustment and equalization correction, the picture data is fed to a data demodulation section 34 and the yellow selection command signal is fed to a protocol demodulation section 35. The picture data is decoded (36) after demodulation and a corresponding voltage is applied to a head 3 from a recording section 37. Further, the yellow selection command signal is demodulated and decoded, subject to mark changeover 39 and the result is fed to a yellow ink solenoid.
