PURPOSE:To enable a stable drive by flowing an exciting current to a plurality of stepping motors in the state that the phase is secured to at least one motor with respect to a mechanism for driving the motors by a single unstable power source, thereby suppressing the variation in the voltage to the minimum limit. CONSTITUTION:Stepping motors 1, 2, 3 have four field coils, and a phase is altered by a signal from the output port of a microcomputer 5 for driving, and rotated. Here, the motors 1, 2, 3 do not rotate if the output states from the output ports do not vary even if the exciting currents are flowed. Then, the exciting current is flowed to the field coil of the stopped motor to maintain the state that the power source voltage is decreased, and the variation in the voltage generated by starting the motor is suppressed to the minimum limit. |
