PURPOSE:To obtain the two-color display device suitable for a notice board by forming an electrostatic latent image of opposite-polarity charges on a dielectric belt, developing the image with the mixed toner of two kinds of toners differing in hue and charging polarity, and recovering automatically the mixed toner removed when a visual image is erased. CONSTITUTION:The dielectric belt 1 is moved by feed rollers 1a and 1b as shown by an arrow (a) and pressed against a multistylus electrostatic recording head 2 by a pressure roller 2a to form a positive or negative electrostatic latent image on the surface according to an image signal. The electrostatic latent image when passes through a developing device 3 is developed with the mixed toner consisting of a red toner charged positively and a black toner charged negatively. When the developed image reaches a window 4, the belt 1 is stopped. When the image is erased a notice period later, the belts 1 and head 2 are separated from each other and the belt 1 is moved and discharged by a corona discharger to recover the mixed toner. |
