PURPOSE:To obtain in favorable reproducibility and easily a molded article whose physical property value is stable, by a method wherein a mold is filled with armatic polyamide resin powder, which is held at the specific temperature and cooled at the specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:A mold held at the temperatured of not exceeding 250 deg.C is filled with aromatic polyamide resin powder whose high concentration is 0.2-0.4g/cm<2> after it has been dried so that water content of the same becomes a predetermined amount. Then after the resin powder has been pressed through clamping, the temperature of the mold is made into the one more than 290 deg.C and not exceeding 360 deg.C, and the mold is held by making molding pressure into at least 70kg/cm<2> and molding time into 1-5min per 1mm. thick of a molded article. After the lapse of predetermined time, the temperature of the mold is cooled to the temperature of less than 250 deg.C and then the molded article is taken out of the mold by opening the mold. A compression molded material of the aromatic polyamide resin having at least concentration of 1.29g/cm<2> and hardness of more than 120 at Rockwell M steel is obtained through the above matter. |
