<p>A sturdy cast arm (7) is supported on the table (1) of the device and bears on the one hand a disc magazine (8) and on the other hand an anvil (6). Between the disc magazine (8) and the anvil (6), a charging arm (9) is fastened pivotably on the cast arm (7). The discs (10) are fed to the anvil (6) automatically and in the cycle of the disc magazine (8) by the pivoting movement of the charging arm (9). By the pressure of the anvil (6) with the disc (10) against the prayer mat (15), the pins of the disc (10) penetrate into the mat until they come into contact with the ends of the ultrasonic horn (5). Due to ultrasonic vibrations, heat is generated in the ultrasonic horn (5), by means of which heat the pins of the disc (10) soften and are flattened by the effect of pressure in the manner of rivets. In this manner a plastic disc (10) is fixed on the prayer mat (15) using ultrasound without post-treatment and completely automatically. <IMAGE></p> |
