PURPOSE:To decrease the frequency of operation by calculating the amount per unit time based on an observed value at prescribed call interval collected by an observing device and deciding the call interval in response to the calculated value so as to switch sutomatically the call interval of the observing device. CONSTITUTION:A comparison processing section 7 is arranged between a clock 1 being a call interval switch of a rainfall telemeter system and a call discrimination processing section 3. A signal representing a prescribed call interval corresponding to the rainfall per unit time calculated by an operation processing section 6 is fed to the processing section 7 from a line M together with the output from the clock 1. The comparison processing section 7 compares the call interval set to the clock 1 and the rainfall calculated by the processing section 6 so as to decide the call interval of a call interval switch 2. Then the output of the processing section 3 is fed to a call control processing section 4, the call interval of the observing device 11 is switched automatically so as to decrease the frequency of operation. |
