PURPOSE:To construct and settle a caisson body in a short time, by a method wherein, after split parts of the caisson body are assembled in a recess in a ground, an anchor in a ground is coupled to a press-in device on the caisson body, and the caisson body is pressed in a ground by means of the press-in device. CONSTITUTION:A shallow recess 21 is excavated in a ground, and anchors 7 are located in a ground around the recess 21. A cutting edge 3 is placed on the bottom of the recess 21, split parts 2 are assembled on the cutting edge 3, and the split parts 2 are coupled together by means of a PC steel bar to form a caisson body 1. A press-in device 6 is installed on the caisson body 1, a press-in jack 11 is coupled to the anchor 7, and with the jack 11 actuated, the cutting edge 3 and the caisson 1 are pressed in a ground. In this case, earth in the caisson body 1 is excavated for removal. The caisson body 1 is split into plural parts, and this uniformizes quality, and builds the caisson body in a short time. |
