<p>PURPOSE:To form an image having good quality while feeding recording paper with good accuracy without bringing the paper into press contact with a latent image, etc. by subjecting both ends of the broad recording paper to required press contact in the upper part of a developing device. CONSTITUTION:Both ends 2a, 2b of recording paper 2 which is broader than the width of a toner inflow and outflow channel equal to the recording width of a developing device are brought into press contact with electrically driven rollers 12a, 12b provided with fine rugged contact surfaces 12c in the upper part of the developing device and the paper 2 is fed while such press contact is maintained. As a result, the recording paper is fed with good accuracy without press contact with a latent image, etc. The latent image having good quality is formed without generation of the uneven image, etc. owing to the friction contact arising from a developing process.</p> |
