PURPOSE:To secure stable driving as well as a feeling driving in time of ordinary driving regardless of curving conditions, by making a suspension characteristic into hard with turning start detection, while constituting it so as not to be restored to a normal stage till the turning is over. CONSTITUTION:Information on a steering angle 2, a car speed 3, acceleration 17 and the like are all inputted into a control unit 1. On the basis of these inputted information data, a variable orifice 6 and an intrerconnecting passage of an air spring 9 are opened or closed. In time of going beyond the specified value, both suspensions 6 and 9 are made into hard. With a contrast between reversing detection of the steering angle 2 and a threshold value, turning completion is judged, and that whether a timer is counting over nor not is judged, and when counting over is the case, it is changed over to ''soft.'' With this constitution, the standard rest of damping force at turning for long hours is prevented from occurring, and stable turning is performable as well as a feeling of comfortableness in time of ordinary driving is securable.
