PURPOSE:To simplify and speed up measurement by controlling operations such as feed of a filter, extraction of exhaust gas and measurement of concentration by a central control means, A/D converting a detecting signal and executing arithmetic processing by the central control means. CONSTITUTION:The titled meter is constituted of a body part 1 consisting of a paper feeding means 4 for feeding a band-like filter 3, an extraction part 5 for sucking exhaust gas and a detecting part 6 having a photoelectric element 21 and a control part 2 consisting of an A/D converter 23, the central control means 24, a ROM25, a RAM26, etc. The exhaust gas is sucked from the inside of an exhaust pipe 18 by a piston 11 through a sending part 14 and the filter 3 and exhaust smoke particles adhered to the filter 3 are photoelectrically converted by the detecting part 6 to obtain a detecting signal. The detecting signal is digitized, operated and stored in the RAM26 and the average value is calculated by repeating sampling by the prescribed number of times and displayed on a display device 30. |
