PURPOSE:To enable preparation of a starting processing soln. without providing a tank for preparing the starting soln. by using a replenishing soln. tank for feeding a replenishing processing soln. to a processing bath as the preparation tank of the starting soln. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amt. of water and a prescribed amt. of kit 15 introduced from a water supply tak or the like to the replenishing soln. tank 2 is circulated with a feed pump 11 through a route 10 and the agent and water are stirred and mixed to prepare a prescribed amt. of starting soln. Then, another feed pump 14 is actuated to feed the starting soln. through a route 13 and to a processing bath 1 to fill it. Then, a replenishing soln. is prepared likewise in the replenishing tank 2. During processing a photosensitive material in the processing bath, the replenishing soln. is intermittently fed with a constant volume feed pump 7 through a route 6 to the processing bath 1.
